Physical Education, an integral part of the total education process, is a field of endeavor which has, as its aim, the development of physically, mentally, emotionally and socially fit citizens through the medium of physical activities which have been selected with a view to realizing these outcomes. The Physical Education department of our college has always endeavored to fulfill these basic objectives by providing the appropriate infrastructural facilities and the right kind of motivation to aspiring students. Since its inception in 1957, our college has produced many outstanding sportspersons and athletes who have brought laurels to the college in various inter-university, State, and National level competitions. The college has been taking part in the intercollegiate tournaments of Kannur University in Athletics, Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Ball badminton, and Shuttle badminton, Wrestling, Chess, Kabbadi, Handball, Kho-kho and Judo. Coaching camps are conducted periodically in various items to ensure the effective participation of students in competitions. There are good and well maintained Football, Cricket, Volleyball, Handball, Shuttle and Ball badminton courts besides facilities for track and field training.
