The College Union is a body of
representatives elected from among and by the students. It comprises the Union
chairman, Vice- Chairman, Secretary, Joint Secretary, Councilor to the
University Union, Fine Arts Secretary, Student Editor, General Captain, Class
Representatives and Association Secretaries. A staff Adviser is nominated to
oversee the general functioning of the Union. There is also a staff Adviser to
the Fine Arts and a Staff Editor to supervise the preparation and publication
of the College magazine. The Union arranges various literary and cultural
programmes for the benefit of students. Seminars and debates, literary
workshops and quiz competitions. The Union also creatively participates in the
overall welfare of the students in the campus.
