The Computer Science Department started in the academic year 2004-05 with starting of the B.Sc. Degree course in Computer Science. Presently three lecturers are working in this Department. The first outgoing batch completed the course in March 2007. Twenty two Students are being admitted to B.Sc. course in every year. A separate computer science lab with 12 PC systems started in the year 2006. The lab is expanded by installing 15 more PC systems and an lcd projector in 2007. The department is ready to accept more students for B.Sc. Computer Science course in future.
It is also planned to start other courses in this department. Presently, Jubeesh M. K., Assistant Professor, Department of Physics, is the acting HOD of the Department.
