• Doctoral Research underway (nearing completion) at CSJM University, Kanpur, since 2006, on the topic Political Critique of Postmodernism and Magic Realism in the Narratives of Gabriel Garcia Marquez.
• Working on a Minor Research Project, awarded by UGC in 2011, upon the topic Art as Activism: Literature, Environment and Politics in the Anti-Endosulfan Struggle in Kasaragod.
